Sharon Powell CVPMA
My name is Sharon and I am the Practice Manager of Belmont Vets. I have worked here since 1997 having previously worked for Defra for 17 years. My role is very varied and no day is ever the same which keeps me very busy. I am in charge of ensuring the practice runs smoothly and we comply with the ever changing legislation set down by the government and the RCVS. My main role is to ensure patients, clients and staff are all looked after. Whilst working here I have been successful in gaining an ILM diploma in management and the certificate of veterinary practice managers. In the little spare time I have my main joy is travelling followed closely by entertaining with friends and family and walking my adorable cocker spaniel “Tia”.
My name is Kirsty and I have worked at Belmont Vets since 1999. In 2015 my role evolved to being more admin based and I am now ffice Manager, but I still get to spend some time on reception. We are always very busy with lots of varied and interesting tasks to tackle. I have two cats called Roo and Ed. In my spare time I enjoy meeting up with friends, listening to music, watching movies, reading, baking and crafts.
My name is Paige and I began working at Belmont Vets in January 2015. I am now head receptionist and enjoy my job very much. I have always grown up with family pets and have a love for animals but don’t currently have a pet of my own. When not at work I enjoy outdoor pursuits such as walking/trekking in and around Herefordshire – and have completed the National Three Peaks challenge with a few of my work colleagues.
My name is Stacey, I have worked at Belmont Vets since March 2014, after moving to Hereford. I was born and raised in Zimbabwe and have had dogs my whole life. I have a Munsterlander called Soyer who is very active and loves going for long walks and swimming, he keeps me very busy.
My name is Amy, I started at Belmont Vets in December 2014. I previously worked in retail management, but my passion has always been animal care, so after 10 years in my previous career I took the leap and volunteered at Belmont Vets every Friday for 18 months which eventually led me to a job as an animal care assistant. As an ANA my job was to assist both qualified nurses and vets and be an active support within the nursing team as well as assisting during veterinary consults, blood tests, patient monitoring and wound management to name a few. I left in February 2017 to have my son and had just under 12 months off on maternity leave. On my return, due to the demands of a small child I made the decision to return as a member of the reception team, which gave me more suitable hours and allowed me to return to work on a part time basis. I really enjoy my new role and the challenges that brings, but hope to return to the nursing team one day in the future and hopefully go on to become a qualified nurse one day. I live in the Herefordshire village of Kings Caple with my husband, my son, our three dogs and one wonky lipped cat. When I’m not working I enjoy going out for long dog walks, swimming and travelling (when I can!).
I’m Jade Delve and I have worked for Belmont Vets since January 2018. Outside of work, I spend my time cleaning up after my two house rabbits, Cloud & Baxter, as well as watching movies at the cinema, drinking lots of tea & visiting my family back in Wales.
Hi my name is Bethany, I started working at Belmont Vets in October 2018. I absolutely adore animals and growing up we never had less than 8 cats and 2 dogs! Our family rescued animals and gave them a loving home so when this position became available I jumped at the opportunity of working with animals on a day to day basis. I have a fiance and 2 gorgeous children and when I’m not working I love to spend time with them making memories. At home I have 2 beautiful cats which completes my little family.
